On Sunday, 20 September, the International Suempol Sports Picnic 2026 took place at the MOSiR Stadium in Bielsk Podlaski. Several hundred people attended the event, including Suempol employees and their families, residents of Bielsk Podlaski, and representatives of local companies and institutions.
It was a special day filled with sporting excitement, meetings, and integration. The picnic provided an opportunity to spend time together, build relationships, and highlight the importance Suempol places on cooperation and involvement in the local community.
One of the highlights of the event was the Suempol President’s Cup Football Tournament, in which 13 teams representing various organisations and communities competed against one another. The participants included two teams from Czarny Bielsk, Suempol Magazyn, Suempol Kraków i Przyjaciele, the Bielsk Podlaski City Council, Impel Security, three teams from Nepal, Indonesia, Royal, Gremi, and the District Police Headquarters in Bielsk Podlaski.
After an exciting series of matches, the top four teams finished as follows:
1. Czarni Bielsk
2. Suempol Magazyn
3. Suempol Kraków i Przyjaciele
4. Bielsk Podlaski City Council
The event also featured a dedicated food zone. In specially prepared food trucks, participants could try dishes made with Suempol products. Guests could enjoy, among other things, bao buns with salmon Cobo, a tortilla with salmon in an Atlantic-style sauce, a salad with salmon in a spinach sauce, and salmon tartare. The food zone also included a barbecue, sweet snacks, and local delicacies, including the traditional sękacz cake.
An important part of the Picnic was also the Health Zone prepared by SPZOZ Bielsk Podlaski. Participants could check their blood pressure and glucose levels, as well as receive dietary advice. They could also learn more about the Suempol publication and the Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, “Eat with Your Heart.”
On Sunday, the MOSiR venue also offered plenty of attractions for the youngest participants. Children could enjoy a specially prepared play zone featuring, among other things, inflatables, a climbing wall, a rodeo, an archery range, face painting, table football, and many other activities.
Among the honorary guests of the event were Piotr Wawulski, Mayor of Bielsk Podlaski; Iwona Kołos, Deputy Mayor of Bielsk Podlaski; and Krzysztof Grodzki, Director of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bielsk Podlaski. The event was also attended by the world-famous organist and priest, Father Tadeusz Syczewski. During the Picnic, we were also joined by special guests – Tomasz Frankowski, legendary Polish striker and former Poland national team player, and Weronika Bochat-Piotrowska, who entertained the audience with live music.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us in creating this special day: the Bielsk Podlaski City Council, MOSiR Bielsk Podlaski, Bielski Rajd Bielski, SPZOZ Bielsk Podlaski, the Bielsk Podlaski Police Headquarters, Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne in Bielsk Podlaski, and Lewar Catering, who were present with their stands.
