On 17 June, a ceremony was held outside Suempol’s headquarters in Bielsk Podlaski to officially hand over a new, fully equipped ambulance to the Independent Public Healthcare Centre in Bielsk Podlaski. The ambulance keys were presented to the facility’s Director, Piotr Selwesiuk, and the Deputy Director for Medical Affairs, Dr Arsalan Azzaddin. Therapeutics Dr. n. med. Arsalan Azzaddin.
The modern Mercedes Sprinter was purchased by the Suempol Foundation. The ambulance is ready to provide assistance to residents of the town and surrounding area, while its equipment will support emergency medical teams in their daily work in situations requiring rapid medical intervention.
The vehicle is equipped with, among other things: a resuscitation stretcher, transport ventilator, defibrillator, infusion pump, chest compression device and central oxygen installation.
Representatives of the Suempol Foundation took part in the official handover: President Agnieszka Osiennik-Kulesza and Management Board Member Krystian Witkiewicz. Monika Siecińska-Jaworowska, the originator and founder of the Foundation operating alongside Suempol, was also present. The purchase of the ambulance was made possible thanks to the commitment of the entire Suempol team – from the owners to the employees, who contribute to supporting local initiatives in many different ways.
“Handing over this ambulance is a very important moment for us. As the Suempol Foundation, we want to support initiatives that have a real impact on the safety and health of the residents of our local community. We believe that the new ambulance will serve patients and medical teams for many years,” said Agnieszka Osiennik-Kulesza, President of the Suempol Foundation.
This is another example of Suempol’s involvement in social initiatives and local projects.
In 2020, the company also supported the Independent Public Healthcare Centre in Bielsk Podlaski by donating an ambulance used in life-saving operations.
