On Sunday, 31 May 2026, we once again had the pleasure of celebrating Children’s Day together with visitors to Kraków Zoo. Suempol’s presence at this event has already become a tradition, and this year was especially meaningful to us, as it marked the anniversary of the birth of the Humboldt penguin egg.
This year, visitors could also enjoy Suempol’s tasting zone, where they had the opportunity to discover fish in a whole new way. We served salmon burgers with fresh toppings, salmon kofta with a salad and crispy toast. The tasting offered an opportunity to try fish in a modern and accessible form, also suitable for younger visitors.
Mr Salmon, Suempol’s company mascot, also took part in the event. He happily posed for photos, greeted the children and made sure the youngest visitors had plenty of reasons to smile. We would like to thank everyone who joined us and spent this special time together. We are delighted that we could once again be part of the Children’s Day celebrations at Kraków Zoo. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
